 The
woman's face is based on an old TV guide movie advertisement
-- I think the title was something like "Pretty babies"?
Not sure. The move was about teenage girls who, with enough
makeup, become highly paid models. A sordid tale of lost innocence.
A
friend really liked this painting. At the time, I refused
to sale the artwork but I did offer to paint a duplicate.
The setting is the same, the layout is the same but they really
don't look exactly alike. The planet in the background of
the sister painting is green.
